The identity for Dino Fest—developed by Derek Dubler in 2016—was inspired by comic books and the super-fans who flock to their conventions. As with comics, dinosaur fans span all age groups and demographics. With the 3rd Annual Dino Fest, I continued to build on the original concept, introducing a motion graphic component that was utilized in the Museum's digital screens, a PBS Television ad, and on our social media pages. Additionally, I updated the staff shirts with a more scenic background and created retractable banners that could be used to increase awareness in the surrounding areas outside of the Museum. This campaign received an Honorable Mention in the2020 Graphis Design Annual competition.
