Our Corporate Social Responsibility Partner's at Disney General Entertainment reached out to us for design support for their annual Magic of Storytelling campaign. Together with First Books, DGE's CSR team donates books to low-income and underserved communities to spread the joy of reading. This year, the campaign was going to take on a new approach by inviting talent from across DGE's business units to read books of their choice and post them on social media to spread the love.
Iman took the lead on this project, designing the overall look and style for the campaign. Once we had an approved direction, I took over and rolled out a series of graphics to help promote the event internally. With the style guide provided by Iman, I also designed, and animated end cards and lower thirds for the social posts.
Our CSR partner's later reached out again for support in creating assets to celebrate the end of a successful campaign. I worked closely with the project lead, Apsara Perera and the video editor, Brian Baxter, and created transition graphics, lower thirds, and animated interstitial cards that highlighted some of the campaigns big wins.
