This season long campaign was born from a simple request for bus tail graphics to promote La Brea Tar Pits in the Summer. After identifying an abnormally long list of Summer offerings at La Brea Tar Pits, I sat with my creative director and associate creative director to discuss the possibility of turning Mammoth Summer into an umbrella campaign that would ensure the Museum would be credited for all of our hosted events happening in Hancock Park.
They were immediately sold on the idea and gave me the green light to develop the campaign. Within two weeks of pitching the concept, I had the environmental, digital and social assets ready and moving into production with the approval and support of the marketing team.
This project also introduced new opportunities that previously hadn't been explored including new signage developed for the ticket kiosks located on both sides of Hancock Park and the use of light poles through the path along side the tar pits.

In addition to environmental and print graphics, I developed a corresponding social campaign. The motion graphics brought the design to life and was shared on the various social media pages associated with the Natural History Museums of Los Angeles County to further promote the extensive list of events.
